Got pole, led the first 50 or so laps, there were two cautions, stopped for tires and fuel on the second, bad strategy and further cautions put me at 17th place, never climbed back. Finished 13th after 3 or so hours of racing
My head hurts... Next up is Talladega.

Ah yes, I still really don't like that track model, so much stuff is misplaced in the infield and outfield and whatnot. Still sounds like fun though.

It definitely was. Most demanding than most races I've played on videogames, and you just don't feel like you're totally in control of the race, even when you're leading. Something can always go wrong, or your focus will falter, or you'll screw up some other way and get passed or bumped into.
